In 1992, after completing his education in Engineering (Electronics & Telecommunication), he joined Unique Mixers in Production Planning. In 1994, Vinod Tekchandaney completed his post-graduation in Systems Management and in 1996, he started Unicom Infotel Pvt Ltd with operations in Mumbai. Today, Unicom has expanded to 13 locations across India.
Jay Thakker joined Unicom in 2000 after completing his Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering & Business Management. After spending five years in the organization handling various roles in Sales & Services, Jay got elevated to the Board of Directors and assumed the responsibility of driving Data Networking, IT & End-To-End Project business. In his current profile, he also manages the regional expansion in West and North India.
After experience in retail for 12 years in the European market he joined the Unicom Group in 2012. Always having passion for photography initially ventured in the same line of business in India. In 2022 started handling the Repro division, HR & Admin along with retail. Regularly searching & always exploring new business ideas. Bachelor of law from Government law College an astute Director with 25+ years of experience.
